Who we are: Seminole Boosters, Inc. is the fundraising arm of Florida State University Athletics. We are responsible for engaging fans, alumni and loyal supporters to generate financial contributions to enrich the educational and athletic experience for over 500 student-athletes participating in 20 sports.

Our members are loyal and generous Seminoles who enhance our student-athletes’ experience and fund the mission to instill the strength, skill, and character essential for lifelong learning, personal responsibility and sustained achievement.

Members support one of the most visible and successful programs in the nation. Contributions make winning possible by funding scholarships, academic and medical services, facilities, and championship-caliber coaches.

What We Do: Every year we fund $34 million or more in support to the athletics department including:

  • More than $11 million in scholarship costs on behalf of 399 student-athletes. While scholarships are of no cost to the student-athletes, they are not free. Athletics pays the same for a student-athlete as a regular student pays.
  • $11 million on facility bond payments for Doak Campbell Stadium, Dick Howser Stadium, the Indoor Practice Facility, Soccer/Softball Complex, Track and Field, Seminole Golf Course and Morcon Aquatics Center.
  • $11.5 million for winning edge programs such as academic services, athletic training, player development, student services and more.

Why give: The athletics budget depends heavily on the contributions from over 15,000 members. Other sources include Atlantic Coast Conference distributions, sponsorship agreements (via Seminole IMG Sports) and ticket revenue. FSU is the top-funded athletic department in the ACC and competes for conference and national championships in every sport.
