So much to do. So little time. The Osceola decided to divide and conquer with staff members in El Paso, the Donald L. Tucker Center and College Town to cover game watching parties, New Year’s Eve celebrations and Fireworks.

The Osceola staff flipped a coin to see who would take which duty.

And I called seniority.

So, I’ll take the tough duty in College Town, making the rounds between Madison Social, the Osceola’s game-watching partner, and 51 on Madison, the Seminole Boosters’ members-only bar. Each of the College Town establishments will have television screens tuned into the Sun Bowl and the men’s basketball game against Georgia Tech.

So take your pick and pace yourself.

If you are so fortunate to be in El Paso for the Sun Bowl, here’s a primer on things to do to ring in the New Year.

If you are in Orlando, you have to check out this Bowl Watch Party. Jay Peeper and the Seminole Club do a great job. I can attest.

If you are elsewhere, visit the Florida State Alumni Association site for game watching parties to see if there is one near you:

But if you are in Tallahassee, look for me at College Town, where the fun will continue well after the bowl and basketball post-game celebrations. We can enjoy the various New Year’s Eve Celebrations, watch the fireworks and call it a decade.

The College Town marathon begins at 1 p.m. at 51 on Madison and ends sometime after 1 a.m.

Hope to see you in one place or another to toast Florida State and the Nole Year.

All the New Year’s Eve on Madison details are here.
